Here are the events coming to Pokémon GO in January 2024:

  • January 1st – January 3rd, 2024New Year's 2024 Event

This event has been fully announced. Please scroll to the end of the article to read the details.

  • January 6th, 2024: Rowlet Community Day

This event has also been fully announced. You can read about it here.

  • January 6th – January 10th, 2024: Lustrous Odyssey Event

This is almost certainly a sequel to the Adamant Time event, which focused on Kanto. This will likely focus on Johto, as we count down the region-based events leading to Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh.

  • January 13th – January 16th, 2024: Dazzling Dream Event

This could be the Hoenn-themed event, but I doubt it. This seems like an event that may focus on Fairy-type Pokémon.

  • January 14th, 2024: Hisuian Typhlosion Raid Day

This Hisuian Raid Days continue, with Decidueye surely scheduled for February.

  • January 20th, 2024: Community Day Classic

This is rumored to feature Porygon.

  • January 19th – January 24th, 2024: Raging Battles Event & GO Battle Week

GO Battle League doesn't generally draw non-PvP-focused players… unless they're offering amazing encounters. Let's cross our fingers.

  • January 27th – January 28th, 2024: Shadow Ho-Oh Raid Weekend

This will surely be the release of Shiny Shadow Ho-Oh.

  • January 27th – February 1st, 2024: Taken Treasures Event

This seems like it may be a Team GO Rocket event.
