"Just Shapes & Beats" Is Getting A Dose Of "Shovel Knight"

The crew over at Berzerk Studio have teamed up with Yacht Club Games to bring Shovel Knight content to Just Shapes & Beats. Below we have the details of the next mixtape that will be added on December 4th, bringing the blue knight and his weapon of choice with it. There's some pretty cool art and animations from several of the knights you may recognize. Enjoy the trailer showing it off!

These new tracks are *exclusive* remixes from some of our favorite composers, and are based on the blue knight and his nemeses… nemesii?.. nemesiseses?… based on Plague Knight, Specter Knight and King Knight!

  • Danimal Cannon – Strike the Earth! (remix)
  • Rainbowdragoneyes – Flowers of Antimony (remix)
  • Kubbi – In the Halls of the Usurper (remix)
  • Shirobon – La Danse Macabre (remix) <— BRAND NEW BOSS

You can play these tracks randomly over in Challenge mode, unlock them in in the Playlist with Beat Points, orrrr…

AMIIBO

This update also brings a new age, filled with wonders and technological magic, where we have *amiibo support*!! If you own any of the Shovel Knight Amiibo you can unlock their respective tracks by tapping them on the stick, just don't make it weird if people are looking; THEY'RE ACTION FIGURES, MOM.

If you have any other (and we mean ANY other) you use them once a day as well to collect 100 Beat Points, up to five per day, if my math is correct that's FIVE HUNDRED BEAT POINTS A DAY OMG.
