Marvel Contest of Champions Reveals April 2026 Content Updates

Marvel Contest of Champions adds Ruby Thursday and Doctor Bong to the game this month, along with Deadpool's Deadlift event

Kabam has revealed the latest content coming to Marvel Contest of Champions in April 2026, as things heat up with new villains and challenges. First off, we're getting new supervillains added to the roster, as Doctor Bong and Ruby Thursday make their appearance in the game this month. We'll also see Act 9–Chapter 4: Redemption start as the conclusion to the act, a chance to snag a 7-Star America Chavez, and a new event with Deadpool's Deadlift! We have all the details here, including the recent livestream showing it off. The first update will drop on April 8, 2026.

New Supervillains Arrive in Marvel Contest of Champions For The Spring

Genetic engineer Lester Verde, AKA Doctor Bong, is joining The Contest alongside the brilliant, megalomaniacal criminal Ruby Thursday! Players will have the opportunity to obtain Ruby Thursday on April 9 , while Doctor Bong can be obtained on April 23 or acquired by completing objectives to receive milestone prizes during his 3-month-long Double Track event beginning April 8.

• Ruby Thursday: This villain augmented her head with a mass of organic circuitry and joined forces with the Headmen (a group of megalomaniac villains with unusual heads). Ruby and the Headmen seek world domination via a myriad of unorthodox methods.
• Doctor Bong: Lester Verde overcame trials both large and inconvenient to become Doctor Bong! He is a supervillain without parallel and a supergenius with advanced knowledge of genetic engineering.
• Event Quest – Bong Voyage [April 8–May 3]: Howard the Duck and She-Hulk are answering a mysterious call for help from the "Bar With No Name." Faceless foes, strange stages, and mysterious miscreants await as the forces of Ruby Tuesday and Doctor Bong look to recruit villains! Will this plot become a wild goose (or duck) hunt?

Act 9 Chapter 4 – An Epic Conclusion

This epic chapter of The Contest is approaching its end! So much has been lost, and so much is still on the line. Carina Tivan, daughter of Elders and leader of Heroes, shall gather her forces for one final push against this time and space-defying foe. Will her plan be enough, or is this just another chance for this serpent to coil around the core of this multiverse? Players, prepare a team of your greatest Champions and find out in Act 9–Chapter 4: Redemption, launching April 15.

Pump It Up Saga

Your Champions are mighty, your Roster is ready… but can you get even MORE powerful? It's time to step into the spotlight and flex against your foes as you find that this Saga is embracing some mean muscle-bound mayhem. Get flexing with the newest Pump It Up Saga kicking off on April 6th.

• Bonus Chase Champion: Complete objectives to receive milestone prizes during the three-month-long Pump It Up Saga to unlock a 7-Star America Chavez! The Chase for America Chavez begins soon after on April 8.

 Heavy Hitters New Player Bundle Giveaway

Step into the arena with a powerhouse squad built to dominate every clash. The Heavy Hitters New Player Bundle features Champions who hit HARD. *New players will have the opportunity to add these epic Champions to their roster starting April 8 at 4PM PT.

(First-time Marvel Contest of Champions players are eligible to access the New Player Bundle Giveaways and must create a new account between April 8 to May 6, 2026, at 4pm PT. New players must complete the in-game tutorial and reach level 5 to unlock the Mail Message function, where the giveaway awaits.)
