During MagicCon: Amsterdam this morning, Wizards of the Coast provided a small update on the release of Magic: The Gathering – Bloomburrow. The last time we heard anything substantial from the group about it was back at MagicCon: Chicago, with a few updates here and there before the deck is set to be released on August 2, 2024. Today, we got a little more info about what it's about, along with some new images of cards. The shorthand to this deck is that it is based on a world that is completely void of humans and instead is more of a cute and cozy world being explored by an adventuring party of anthropomorphic animal friends. As you can see from the image here, you're getting characters that are squirrels, frogs, rats, rabbits, and more. Many of the cards are as cute as you would think, as you can see below, as they will tell a story of everyone banding together for an important quest. Enjoy the cards below as we now patiently wait to see what else it has in store before the official release in six weeks.
