Mortal Kombat 11 Shows Off the Already Revealed Erron Black
While there was no Kombat Kast this week, NetherRealm Studios decided to show off another character from Mortal Kombat 11 as we look at Erron Black. Black had already been revealed as a character in the game, both from leaks and from the story trailer released last week, but there are a couple of different versions of him with and without his mask. The teaser photo they loaded this week shows him with his mask on, but we gotta say… he's looking a lot healthier than we last saw him in MKX.
If you're not familiar with the character, he originally debuted in the Mortal Kombat comics as an Earthrealm cowboy hired by Shang Tsung somewhere between the 9th and 10th tournament, which explains his extended life and service to Outworld. Since Mortal Kombat 11 has players going through every character's different periods in time, it's only natural we get to see him before he was wearing the mask full time, as the rumor about his character has always been that without Tsung around, he's now slowly dying off. If the rumors are true that Tsung is in the game, it would be mighty nice to see the original meeting of the two and find out how the deal came about. But that's wishful thinking at the moment.
