Nintendo is Seeking Level Designers for The Legend of Zelda

If you think Nintendo is done with The Legend of Zelda for a while, think again. Social media was quick in catching Nintendo posting a brand-new job listing for a level designer for the series, specifically involving level design. The news of the listing was made public on their website but spread quickly online after people picked up on it through Twitter.

There are no specific details as to whether it would be working on Breath of the Wild for new DLC content, or if this will be for a totally new Zelda game for either the Switch or the 2DS/3DS. If you take Hyrule Warriors out of the picture, the last proper Zelda game for the 3DS was A Link Between Worlds back in 2013, so a return to handheld may be the next logical step for the company. However, if you believe the speculation that Nintendo will phase the 3DS out over the next few years and rely on the Switch to replace it, we could be seeing a sequel to the Breath of the Wild. It's all speculation at this point, but one this is for certain: there's a dream job open for level designers!
