PUBG Mobile and Resident Evil 2 Have a Big Announcement Coming

It appears we're going to be getting a new crossover event in video gaming between PUBG Mobile and the new Resident Evil 2 on the way. Early this morning, the mobile game's Twitter feed posted this teaser, with a hashtag #pubgmobilexre2. While they'd like to keep the suspense going, it's pretty clear that at some point we're going to end up seeing some RE2 material pop up in the game for a special event. Kinda like how they recently added The Joker and Harley Quinn in from Suicide Squad.

The obvious choice in our minds is to take the zombie mode and decorate it out as if you're playing as Leon or Claire fending off the horde. At least, that's the thing that makes the most sense to us. If it's just adding costumes and special weapons, that's gonna be a letdown. We'll see what happens as we assume they'll make the full announcement during the All-Star game currently happening in Dubai this weekend.
