Ubisoft Announce Their Plans For PAX West 2019
With less than a week until the convention happens in Seattle, Ubisoft has revealed what they'll have in store for PAX West 2019 attendees. The company will have its own booth at #605 and will be featuring content from Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Rainbow Six Siege, and Roller Champions. The last one on that list was totally fun to play at E3 2019, so I recommend giving it a shot if you want to see their new esports game on the way. Here's some added details from the company about what they'll be showing off.
Live demos of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint at the Ubisoft booth give players the chance to discover Auroa, a mysterious island where the most technically advanced facilities meet wild and untamed nature. Home to tech giant Skell Technology, Auroa has fallen into the hands of the toughest enemy to date, the Wolves, a lethal ex–US Military unit of former Ghosts gone rogue. Fans can also see the newest map rework and operators for the upcoming Operation Ember Rise in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Finally, players can skate, pass, dodge and score points in front of a virtually packed arena in Roller Champions. Ubisoft is ready to take fans on these adventures throughout PAX West.
In addition to the live demos, the Roller Champions tournament is open to all interested players. From August 31 to September 2, a total of eight teams will compete each day. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place finishers.
PAX West attendees can also sign up at the Ubisoft booth to access a free trial* of UPLAY+ that will run from September 3 to September 30. For the first time at PAX West, the Ubisoft Store will be open for fans to purchase merchandise and apparel featuring their favorite Ubisoft games.
