Bungie's President Steps Down As New CEO Takes Position

Bungie seems to be in a bit of a limbo state at the moment. It's currently between content and seems to also be between delivery methods, as it doesn't seem anyone has a handle on what the future of Destiny looks like.

Well, it seems the entire studio is somewhat in transition itself. On the developer's blog, it was revealed that President Harold Ryan has now stepped down, and a replacement hasn't filled the role just yet. However, former COO of the company, Pete Parsons will now take the CEO mantle.

What does this mean for the players? It is hard to say. Hopefully, this will be a sign of intent for the developer and a clear direction for the game will emerge soon. I miss having a reason to log on to Destiny, so hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.
