It Seems Like Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Won't Be On PlayStation 3 Or Xbox 360
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 had a pretty dire port to last gen consoles. The game didn't feature the main campaign, plus the zombies and multiplayer modes were drastically stripped down versions of their Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 brothers.
It seems that Infinity Ward aren't going to be offering Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 versions of Infinite Warfare this year, making this the first Call of Duty to be exclusive to the current generation consoles. Responding to a fan who asked about a PlayStation 3 version on Twitter, the official account responded:
Unless there is some bizarre deal going on, you can almost be sure that this means that there won't be an Xbox 360 version either.
Honestly, I think this is good news. While annoying for those who haven't made the console leap yet, poor ports weren't helping anyone. This series likes to go big, and to do that, it has to be riding on powerful processing.
