1980s Wrestling Superstar Marty Jannetty Considering New Career… In Pornography

Marty Jannetty is most remembered by wrestling fans for his partnership with Shawn Michaels in popular tag team The Rockers, who won two AWA World Tag Team Championships and had a successful run in WWF in the late 1980s and early 1990s with another two World Tag Team Championships. Perhaps the most memorable moment of Jannetty's career, however, was being thrown (or attempting to escape, based on your perspective) through Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake's Barber Shop window after a superkick from Michaels in a dramatic "heel turn" that helped launch Michaels' singles career.

Following the Barber Shop incident, Jannetty was set to go onto a Wrestlemania feud with Michaels, but six months of house arrest after attacking a police officer during a domestic disturbance call scuttled those plans, and while Michaels went on to become a legitimate contender for greatest wrestler of all time, Jannetty's career topped out at the midcard with a single Intercontinental Championship run, though he has continued to wrestle through the decades.

Twenty-six years after that fateful Barber Shop incident, Jannetty has an opportunity for a new career. This one won't take place inside the squared circle, but it will involve a similarly taxing athletic performance. That's right, Jannetty is considering doing porn after reportedly being offered a $150,000 three picture deal. Jannetty posted on Facebook this week:

There's no update yet on whether he took the deal, but we'll be rooting for him. After all, why should Shawn Michaels always be the one to get all the glory?
