2 New Clips from Tomb Raider Tease Some Crazy Stunts
We have two new clips from the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot that show off some of the big set pieces in this movie. The first is from IGN and is a scene directly out of the out the game.
The second shows Lara (Alicia Vikander) escaping the boat that's currently sinking.
Tomb Raider is opening at a strange time because there is competition, but it's that kind of hit-or-miss competition. Pacific Rim Uprising will be released the week after it opens, and the week after that Ready Player One is likely going to dominate the box office. A Wrinkle in Time will be going into its second week, not to mention Black Panther is still going strong. Without some really good buzz behind it, this movie is one of the first major blockbusters that could get lost in the chaos that is the 2018 movie schedule.
Summary: Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared.
Tomb Raider, directed by Roar Uthaug, stars Alicia Vikander, Walton Goggins, Dominic West, Hannah John-Kamen, and Daniel Wu. It will be released on March 16th.
