Who Adam West Want's To Play In The Batman (But Most Certainly Won't Be Able To)
Adam West is a very important figure in the Batman pantheon, and his contribution to making the character endure can not be understated. It's why cameos have always been to be a fun idea in film adaptations.
Ben Affleck's Batman is upcoming too, so Comicbook.com recently asked West, if he had a choice, what would he do with a cameo in the film. West got pretty specific with an answer. He said:
You know what I'd love to do? Those guys are all wonderful talents in their own ways, and they approach the role differently, but if I could approach it in a darker way, of course, in a more serious way, however, it would be wonderful to play Bruce Wayne's father coming back. You know he was murdered, but coming back one dark and stormy lightning-driven night through a library window. Bruce Wayne is there thinking, 'I'll never solve this. This is the most difficult thing in my life.' In comes old dad, like a bat, almost.
Of course, Jeffrey Dean Morgan is Thomas Wayne in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, so there is no way this ever happens, but it is a fun idea. Also, I'm sure there could be a small place for West somewhere in the film. I'd love to see it.
