Bleeding Cool Chatter #6: DCTV, Halt And Catch Fire, And More
Bleeding Cool Chatter is a new web series hosted by Bleeding Cool's head film writer Kaitlyn Booth. This time, Kaitlyn is joined by fellow film and TV writer Bill Watters and TV writer Ray Flook, movie and TV writer Mary Anne Butler and Adi Tantimedh — and this time we're talking about a ton of TV in this extra-long episode.
Watch Adi talk about a terrible science-fiction show he found called Missions while simultaneously making it jump the top of Ray's "I must see this train wreck now." Mary Anne gets a lot of feelings as she tells us about the series finale of Halt and Catch Fire, which is the best show you haven't watched yet. We get into the DCTV shows and how ratings for all of them are down. We touch on The Walking Dead and a little bit of Mindhunter, as well.
This is a new thing we're starting, so we're still ironing out the kinks. The big thing we want from anyone who decides to watch this series is: how would you like it presented?
Do you like one episode in one video like this in this one? Or do you like shorter videos like we had in the previous episodes? Do you want something a little longer? Our episodes are going to run less than an hour, and we want to set these up in a way that works for our audience.
