Comic Book Adaptation Rottentail Gets a Cinema Release for April 12th 2019

Rottentail, the movie adaptation of the Source Point Press horror comic by David C. Hayes, Kevin Moyers, Kurt Belcher, and Henrik Horvath is intended as a nostalgic and fun ode to the comic book movies of the eighties and nineties.

Written by creator David C. Hayes and director Brian Skiba, the movie tells the tale of researcher Peter Cotton, who is bitten by a mutant rabbit transforming him into the evil Rottentail. Seeking revenge he heads to his hometown of Easter Falls on the eve of the Annual Easter Parade to wreak havoc and lay claim to the love of his life…

Comic Book Adaptation Rottentail Gets a Cinema Release for April 12th 2019

Corin Nemec (Parker Lewis Can't Lose, Stargate SG-1 ) stars as researcher Peter Cotton who transforms into Rottentail. Alongside Nemec, the film co-stars Gianni Capaldi and Dominique Swain as well as William McNamara (Copycat, Surviving the Game) and Vincent De Paul.

Rottentail was first shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2018. It features practical effects by Todd Tucker (Pirates of The Caribbean, Van Helming, A Beautiful Mind), responsible for Nemec's transformation into the rabbit beast Rottentail.

Rottentail will hit cinemas in time for Easter on April 12th, 2019, before going to TVOD, Blu Ray and DVD in the mid-summer. The deal with Ammo Content was brokered by Source Point Press' Travis McIntire, and Ammo's CEO, Arman Oner.
