Doctor Strange To Begin Filming In London

Doctor_Strange_LogoThe anticipation for Marvel's Doctor Strange has been building as announcements of Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor joined the already cast Benedict Cumberbatch. And in a nice bit of synchronicity, with Marvel announcing a new Doctor Strange comic series by Jason Aaron and Chris Bachlo, the film's director Scott Derrickson tweeted the following:

Derrickson has previously directed The Day The Earth Stood Still, Sinister and Deliver Us From Evil, making folks think the film may focus a bit more on the horror elements involved with the good doctor. And in writer Jon Spaihts who has worked on Prometheus, Passengers and The Darkest Hour and you get the feeling that it will be a somewhat darker toned film. Now that filming is beginning we should start getting more information.

Doctor Strange is due in theaters November 4th, 2016.
