The Youtube folks Robot Underdog released the pilot for their live-action DBZ web series, titled Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope. Based off the animated feature The History of Trunks, the movie featured a dystopian future, wherein most of the Z Fighters have been killed by Android 17 and 18, leaving a battle-weary Gohan to train a young Trunks; hoping to unlock some much-needed power. I have to say, I really hope this web series continues for a long time. Better than Dragon Ball: Evolution, which may not be saying a lot, Robot Underdog's pilot is high-octane and delivers on the fan-service. As a huge Dragon Ball Z fan myself, I was left breathless, overwhelmed and exceptionally pleased. Here's hoping the next episode comes out very soon. Like, tomorrow would be nice.
