Ellen Page Is Open to Playing Kitty Pryde in the Tim Miller X-Men Movie

Earlier this month it was announced that Brian Michael Bendis and Tim Miller are making an X-Men movie titled "134". At the moment we don't know exactly what it's about, but everyone is guessing that it's going to follow X-Men issue #134, which is a Kitty Pryde story. At the moment, the best-known person who has played Kitty Pryde is Ellen Page. Cinema Blend asked Page if she'd be interested in returning to the role.

I loved playing Kitty Pryde, and I think one of the things I always felt was I wish I could have done more. My experience in the films wasn't necessarily that extensive and she is such a great character. I don't know anything about the movie to be honest with you, but yeah, of course, that's something I'd love to do, but I don't know.

There were a lot of characters that the X-Men movies have ignored, but Kitty is one of the big ones. The character didn't have much to do in X-Men: The Last Stand and was completely sidelined in X-Men: Days of Future Past. This could be the chance to redeem the character. Page is an award-winning actress who could carry a movie on her own, since the plot of #134 has Kitty alone.
