Fox Announces Title For Independence Day Sequel
I've been wondering where we were going to go next with teaser trailers. First we got trailers which are teasers of upcoming films. Then we started getting teasers for trailers and we've even seen teasers for upcoming teasers for upcoming trailers… And now we have a teaser for a title for an upcoming movie. 20th Century Fox has released a 24-second video showing off the official title and logo for Independence Day: Resurgence.
Roland Emmerich returns to direct the sequel with stars: Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward. The story focuses post-invasion as the nations of the world have united using alien technology to create a global defense… but they are still unprepared for the alien's second invasion force.
Independence Day: Resurgence will be in theaters June 24th, 2016.
