Harbinger Hops Over Bloodshot In Sony Film Line-Up

All the talk of a live-action Ninjak series may have found it's way to Sony as The Wrap says reports that the studio is moving up production on their five film deal that includes Harbinger and Bloodshot that would lead to a crossover film of Harbinger Wars.

They say that Sony renewed their option on Harbinger in the last month. A Bloodshot film had already been announced but not much movement has happened on it since. But now it looks like Harbinger will kick things off, possibly casting Bloodshot in the villain role, before his own feature. This would also allow them to spin off other characters from the Harbinger franchise such as the HARD Corps, Livewire, Generation Zero, and the extremely popular Faith / Zephyr.

Harbinger focuses on power individuals being collected by Project Rising Spirit, the same group that created the Bloodshot program… so tying the two stories together would be very easy.

Writer Eric Heisserer (Arrival, Lights Out) is said to be attached for the Harbinger Script. Neil Moritz will produce along with Dinesh Shamdasani on behalf of Valiant Entertainment.

Neither The Wrap nor any of my own sources have been able to confirm.
