Everything continues to be awesome for Ke Huy Quan. No one was expecting Everything Everywhere All At Once when it came out, but the movie became a cultural juggernaut that finally got some recognition for hardworking Asian actors who have been in the industry for decades. One of those people was Quan. While older people might recognize Quan for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies, he took a long break from the profession in the late 90s to a few years ago. His role in Everything Everywhere All At Once reignited Quan's career in a big way, earning him an Oscar, Golden Globe, and many other awards, and he went on to get a role in the second season of Loki and a role in American Born Chinese on Disney+.
He has a voice role in the upcoming Kung Fu Panda 4 and will appear on Netflix in The Electric State from the Russo Brothers. Quan has recently signed on to another big screen endeavor, according to Deadline. It is called With Love from the production company by David Leitch, and Kelly McCormick called 87North. Universal is distributing it, and it will be the theatrical feature debut of Jonathan Eusebio. Eusebio's story is similar to Leitch and Chad Stahelski in that he cut his teeth as a second unit director and a stunt coordinator.
We don't know anything about the plot, but "Luke Passmore is writing from an original script by Josh Stoddard (Warrior, Kaleidoscope) & Matthew Murray," according to Deadline's sources. There isn't any release date for With Love, and 87North is likely focusing on promoting The Fall Guy, the next film Leitch directed and set to come out on May 3rd, before anything else. However, now that casting is on the way, we might get some more names added to this one.
