Maestro: Official Poster, Trailer, And Images Are Released

Netflix has released the official poster, trailer, and a bunch of images for Maestro, the Leonard Bernstein biopic directed and starring Bradley Cooper.

Maestro from Netflix is already coming onto the scene with some Discourse that people are unsure how to approach. There is something to be said about the fact that director, writer, and star Bradley Cooper had to put on a fake nose to essentially make himself look more Jewish to play the legendary Leonard Bernstein. Is that modification of his appearance anti-sematic the same way that blackening your skin is racist? It's an interesting conversation to have and one that no one seemed to really come to a definitive conclusion on. Biopics are part of the lifeblood of the awards season, so it isn't surprising that this one is getting a fall release with a limited theatrical release as well. The film has premiered at several festivals, and those reactions have been pretty positive so far. Netflix released an official poster, trailer, and a whole pile of images. We'll have to see if there is an audience for biopics either on streaming or in theaters, so Netflix doing both will make the box office conversation about biopics and their place in film these days very interesting.
