Marvel's Daredevil Casts Elektra For Season 2

Elodie-Yung-GI-Joe-2-JinxMarvel and Netflix have cast Elodie Yung as Elektra for the second season of the hit series Marvel's Daredevil. Yung who was in G.I. Joe: Retaliation and District 13: Ultimatum joins the recently cast Jon Bernthal who will be playing Frank Castle / The Punisher as popular characters from the comics that have had less success on the big screen.

Elektra was referred to in the first season as Matt Murdock's "greek girlfriend". She is described as "a mysterious woman from Matt Murdock's past whose dangerous and exotic ways may be more than he can handle."

Marvel has released this teaser image to go with the announcement.
