Mass Effect 4 Is Currently Shooting Motion Capture Scenes
News on the Mass Effect 4 front has been pretty slow. We've known about the game's existence for a for a while now, but the closest we've gotten to any real news was a coy 'behind the scenes' look at EA's E3 press conference.
We are likely a ways off of the next game (I'd guess the end of 2016), but cinematic director Ken Thain has given us the briefest glimpse of the title's production. He posted this image on Twitter yesterday of several actors getting ready to do mo-cap for the game.
I don't recognise any of the actors and sadly, it doesn't seem there are too many environmental clues here.
Honestly, this doesn't tell us anything much about the production. My understanding is mo-cap can happen at many stages of development. We also don't know how much Bioware are mo-capping at this stage. This could be a one off scene, or a part of a block of 'recording'.
This is still exciting though. At whatever stage in the production this is, it just reaffirms Mass Effect is coming, and I want in.
