Mission: Impossible Fallout: Poster, Teaser Footage, and a Trailer on Sunday
We're finally getting some new information about Mission: Impossible Fallout. After months of silence and a lot of set photos from director Christopher McQuarrie, star Tom Cruise revealed the title of the sixth installment of the franchise last week. Now that we have a title, that means it's time for a poster, which the official Twitter account revealed.
And now that we have a poster, it's time for some footage. It's not a lot of footage, but the official account posted a six-second teaser for the movie. We got our first look at the mustache that kneecapped Justice League with a brief scene of Henry Cavill.
The trailer will be debuting as part of the Super Bowl this Sunday. We have a vague summary from IMDB, but hopefully this trailer will give us a better idea of what this movie is actually about. The last two Mission: Impossible movies have been pretty good as they rely more on a team dynamic rather than a "one man against the world" situation. We can hope this sixth installment keeps up this incline in quality.
Summary: Ethan Hunt and his IMF team, along with some familiar allies, race against time after a mission gone wrong.
Mission: Impossible Fallout, directed by Christoper McQuarrie, stars Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby, Alec Baldwin, and Angela Bassett. It will be released on July 27th.
