New Assassin's Creed Mega Bloks Sets Are Now For 'Adult Collectors'
There was a weird story that came out on the tail end of last year, that Mega Bloks were going to be making several Assassin's Creed sets. This was weird because at the time, Ubisoft explained they wanted to bring Assassin's Creed to a younger audience that couldn't play the games.
It's important to point out that Assassin's Creed is about hunting, tracking and killing people, and Ubisoft were talking about selling that franchise to children using building blocks. It left a weird taste in people's mouths.
Well, now the sets have been revealed and every one seems to have had a rethink about their core audience. On the Ubiblog (via Destructoid) outlining the sets, it's now said that the toys are designed "with adult collectors in mind". I don't expect that will stop too many children form wanting them, mind you.

The sets range from $9.99 for Da Vinci's flying machine to $49.99 for Edward Kenway's pirate ship.
I still think it is weird seeing Assassin's Creed in Mega Bloks' back catalogue, but I have no doubt that a bunch of people will love getting their hands on these.
