New Extended Look at Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
The December flood of huge blockbuster movies is on the way and the one thing we can say about nearly all of them is that they look interesting. Aquaman looks nothing like Bumblebee which looks nothing like Mortal Engines.
Then we have Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which doesn't look like anything we've ever seen before. The hype for the animated movie has been off the charts since we saw the first teaser and now that the release is right around the corner Sony Pictures have released some new footage. This new footage also contains some new looks at the most important character in this movie; Peter Porker the Spider-Ham.
This is one of those times when we, as nerds, need to take a step back and realize what an amazing time period we live in. There is going to be a major movie, released in theaters, that is getting a huge theatrical push, where Peter Porker the Spider-Ham not only appears but is voiced by an Emmy award-winning comedian (John Mulaney).
Summary: Spider-Man crosses parallel dimensions and teams up with the Spider-Men of those dimensions to stop a threat to all reality.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, stars Shameik Moore, Liev Schreiber, Lily Tomlin, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Luna Lauren Velez, and Hailee Steinfeld. It will be released on December 14th.
