New Mission: Impossible – Fallout Behind-the-Scenes Featurette

One of the coolest parts of the Paramount Pictures presentation at CinemaCon was when Mission: Impossible – Fallout director Christopher McQuarrie came out with star Tom Cruise and they spent spent around 20 minutes breaking down one of the big stunts in the movie. While Paramount Pictures probably won't release all of that really cool looking raw footage they did release a featurette that goes into the HALO Jump.

So for anyone keeping track for this movie Cruise has shattered an ankle, learn to fly a helicopter in a way that usually takes years to master but he did it months, and jumped out of a plane at 25,000 feet. You have the give the man credit for wanting to make these movies look authentic but we can only imagine how many gray hairs Paramount executives have from Tom Cruise deciding he needs to do all the stunts.

Summary: Ethan Hunt and his IMF team, along with some familiar allies, race against time after a mission gone wrong.

Mission: Impossible Fallout, directed by Christoper McQuarrie, stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby, Alec Baldwin, and Angela Bassett. It will be released on July 27th.
