New Pictures of Taron Egerton and Ben Mendelsohn in Robin Hood

Here's a movie we haven't see much about. There is a reboot of Robin Hood coming out this fall and the official twitter account has posted some new images. The first one is a first look at the fantastic Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Next we have another look at Taron Egerton as the title character.

We don't know that much about this movie just yet aside that it's going to be "dark" and "gritty" which someone decided was a good idea. Maybe five years ago the when the dark and gritty thing was all the rage but now it just makes a movie that isn't even out yet sound extremely dated. It has a great cast though and a cast of people who are compelling on screen can make up for a lot.

Summary: A gritty take on the classic Robin Hood story.

Robin Hood, directed by Otto Bathurst, stars Taron Egerton, Jamie Dornan, Ben Mendelsohn, Jamie Foxx, and Eve Hewson. It will be released on September 18th.
