Old Trailer: M. Night Shyamalan Firing On All Cylinders For This One
The full trailer for Old, the new film from M. Night Shyamalan, debuted this morning, and I will give the man this: he knows how to make a trailer. It stars a very impressive cast: Gael García Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Ken Leung, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abbey Lee, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Embeth Davidtz, Eliza Scanlen, Emun Elliott, Kathleen Chalfant, and Thomasin McKenzie. When this debuted during this past year's Super Bowl, the teaser creeped people out and made them unnerved. After watching this one, I am not sure those feelings will go away, but I can guarantee that they will watch. Check out the trailer for Old below.
Old Synopsis
"This summer, visionary filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan unveils a chilling, mysterious new thriller about a family on a tropical holiday who discover that the secluded beach where they are relaxing for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly … reducing their entire lives into a single day." This feels like an old Shyamalan film, if that makes sense, and pardon the pun. The guy who made The Sixth Sense, Signs, and Unbreakable. Not Split or Glass, which frankly I was not a fan of. When he is on, though, it is hard to find a better concept guy working today, especially in the thriller department. This one has a terribly cool premise and looks gorgeous, which is sure to enhance the terror when things start to go wrong for the group.
