Exclusive Behind-The-Scenes Look at Creating the Creature for The Predator

The home release for The Predator right around the corner. The latest entry in the science fiction action series is out on digital today and we got a new behind-the-scenes look at how they brought this legendary creature to life. A lot of work went into making everything look as realistic as possible. Check out the special featurette below as Tom Woodruff, Jr. and Alec Gillis of Academy Award-winning special effects company Amalgamated Dynamics give us an inside look at designing and creating the creature for this film, along with director Shane Black.

The sheer amount of detail that went into making these creatures look as realistic as possible is staggering. The production team for the filmclearly put in a lot of work to make this one of the best versions of the creature to appear on the big screen.

Summary: From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black's explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

The Predator, directed by Shane Black, stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Yvonne Strahovski.
