We All Need These Star Wars Opening Crawl Scarves

Even if you live in Florida or another always-warm area of the world, you need these Star Wars Opening Crawl Scarves — because why not? There's something so dumb and yet utterly charming about wearing the opening crawls around your neck. I'll be up front; although these Star Wars opening crawl scarves look kind of cool, I'd rather not wear them. I'd actually prefer to hang them up somewhere to show them off in all their glory.

Granted, they still look good as a scarf (seen below), but for anyone who doesn't know what the Star Wars crawl is (which, to be fair, is pretty slim to none), it'll get lost in translation. There's been some amazing Star Wars clothing items released lately, such as an R2-D2 bag and whatever you can find at your local Hot Topic or Disney Store. Seriously, I'm a Star Trek fan, but even I can admit some of this stuff is amazing. But according to the press release, these scarves will be released to comic shops only.

Did you feel something missing without the classic opening crawl in Rogue One? Fans of the classic Star Wars film series can now keep the opening crawls of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi close with the release of this silk scarf collection by Mighty Fine.

These fashionable PREVIEWS Exclusive scarves are featured in the June issue of Diamond's PREVIEWS catalog. The scarves featuring the crawls for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will carry a suggested retail price of $21.99, while the A New Hope scarf and lapel pin set will retail for $24.99. The scarf collection will ship to stores in late September 2017.

For $21.99 I can think of better ways to spend your money, but to each their own.
