Tarantino's Hateful Eight Rumored For November Start Date
Could the saga of The Hateful Eight be finally about to reach its inevitable conclusion – actually heading into production? Roger Friedman's Showbiz 411 claims yes, in fact, Quentin Tarantino will begin shooting his much-scandalized revenge Western thriller in November. At least part of the filming will take place in Wyoming, where at least some of the opening scenes take place.
Friedman also says, perhaps more dubiously, that he's heard the cast that will be in the film will in fact be the cast that took place in the live staged reading of the screenplay that took place in April. That cast, thought to be a temporary stand-in for the eventual film cast, included Kurt Russell, Dana Gourrier, Zoe Bell, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, James Parks, Walton Goggins, Denis Menochet, Amber Tamblyn and James Remar.
Out of the picture is Christoph Waltz, who's won both his Oscars by being in Tarantino's last two films. That is, if this report all turns out to be true, of course.
