The Emerald Diplomat – Oliver Queen Tries A Different Approach

Since Arrow began, Oliver Queen hasn't shied away from violence to get things done. And even though he has gotten away from killing, he wouldn't ever be confused with someone who tries talking things out first. Yet now he is in an impossible situation. His sister is dying and Nyssa al Ghul offers her the cure but only if he kills Malcolm Merlyn. Oliver has plenty of reasons to do just that. Malcolm has been the architect of all of Oliver's miseries if you think about it. The shipwreck, Tommy's death, Thea killing Sara, bringing Ra's al Ghul into their life and getting Thea hurt which lead to her going into the Lazarus Pit.

But instead of running an arrow through Malcolm's chest, Oliver is going to play diplomat and this clip from tonight's episode tells us why.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 PM on the CW.
