Time for Expensive Coffee in This New Image from The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
The LEGO Movie sort of came out of nowhere nowhere back in 2014. It didn't sound like it was a very good idea and then when the movie came out it had this sense of humor that no one was expecting. It was remarkably self aware and went on to dominate the Feburary box office for weeks. It spawned entire franchise of self aware LEGO movies with the fantastic The LEGO Batman Movie and the pretty damn good The LEGO Ninjago Movie. We're finally getting a proper sequel early next year, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, and Entertainment Weekly has shared a new image.
The trailer appearing to be making fun of the Mad Max aesthetic which is ripe for satire. This wasn't initially on the radar for people when it came to the Warner Bros. panel but now that it's been included in the Comic-Con preview perhaps we'll get a new trailer or clip from the upcoming movie. Here's the trailer if you haven't seen it yet.
