Underworld Franchise To Get Rebooted

Underworld-Awakening-E-Cine-1According to THR, the Underworld franchise is about to go through a reboot. The report says that Lakeshore Entertainment has brought in Cory Goodman to write the script. Goodman wrote the Paul Bettany lead film Priest and the upcoming Vin Diesel movie The Last Witch Hunter.

Starting in 2003 with the first Underworld film, the movie turned actress Kate Beckinsale into a bankable action star. Three films followed in 2006 (Underworld: Evolution), 2009 (prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans) and 2012 (Underworld: Awakening). The franchise has made $458.2 million worldwide.
