USA Cancels Covert Affairs After Five Seasons
The CIA spy show, Cover Affairs, starring Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham will not be coming back for a sixth season. USA Network has decided to not renew their once hit series as the show that used to pull in around 5 million viewers in live and same day ratings now only averages 1.1 million.
The fifth season ended on a cliffhanger of sorts as Annie Walker (Perabo) was left pondering a marriage proposal and a new job in the CIA while Auggie Anderson (Gorham) was moving away from spy work. There is no indication from the network that the show will get a chance to wrap things up like they had done recently with the series White Collar.
Gorham also plays the Wizard of Oz on Once Upon A Time and voices The Flash in the upcoming Justice League: Throne of Atlantis animated movie. Perabo doesn't have anything currently in production.
