Warner Bros. is Reportedly Working on a Zatanna Film

The list of movies that have been reportedly announced by Warner Bros. and DC is getting more than a bit silly at this point. It seems that there is another one. In an article by Deadline talking about all of the female heroes that are making their way to the big and small screen, there was a line about DC movies which included a name we haven't seen before.

There's also been talk of films for Supergirl, Zatanna and Batgirl, while male-hero movies like the long-promised Flash solo film or a new Superman installment have lost momentum.

That's right according to this source Warner Bros. is working on a movie based off of the character Zatanna.

Zatanna was first introduced in 1964 in Hawkman #4 and she's been bouncing around the DC universe ever since. She is probably best known for being part of Justice League Dark and her connections to John Constantine who hasn't been introduced in the current DC movie universe. She is one the most powerful sorceress in the DC universe so this isn't a bad idea. According to several sources, there doesn't even appear to be a limit of how powerful she really is so there is absolutely a story worth telling in there. And maybe they can get John as her sidekick.
