Well, the red carpet portion of it, in any case.

During the interview segments of the carpet, Lawrence Fishburne (who looked amazing, of course) was asked how he was enjoying being part of the MCU.

He responded that he'd been a fan since he was a kid reading comics, and was so happy to be involved. When asked if there were any other Marvel characters he'd want to play, he mentioned for villain Galactus, and hero Brother Voodoo.

When David Hasselhoff showed up, he let the news drop that he and his fiancée Hayley Roberts are tying the knot on July 31st!

Abby Ryder Fortson, who plays Scott Lang's daughter Cassie, was adorable on the carpet.

Nick Spencer says the reason people love Ant-Man is the relationship between Scott and Cassie in the comics and Hank and Hope in the films. "It's a redemption story, he wants to be a better man because of his daughter." He said his favorite moment in the comics was the Scott-Taskmaster exchange.

Hannah John-Kamen says she did all her own stunts in her previous projects, and it was really important to her to do the same for Ghost. "In my mind, she's the good guy, and everyone else is the bad guy."

Director Peyton Reed says he approached this sequel from the point of view of making it funnier, and "more nuts". He apparently promised Michael Douglas some jokes and action this time, so he's not "so crabby". Apparently the lab set is the largest set Marvel Studios has built to date.

Michael Douglas interrupted Reed's interview by saying "I just talked to your mom," and then she JOINED THEM! Aww, she's adorable!

Michael Douglas's son Cameron joins his dad in the interview, and says his dad is pretty good at forgiving, but not forgetting.

On the carpet, there is a huge group from Girls Who Code, both Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas posed for photos with almost every member of the group. Pretty awesome.

T.I. Harris stops by and says the premiere is more excitement than nerves. He wants to see fans' reactions to the film. He says the "cons" have the best chemistry.

Paul Rudd talks about the surreal and amazing experience of seeing everyone dressed up is like comic con. He even turns to give a shout out to the cosplayers gathered. Rudd talks about the things he cut out of his diet to get into shape; bread, booze, sugar. He mentions that Hope and Scott start the film estranged. Paul admits that his son went super into Marvel films, and that his daughter is "the real Cassie". Also, his karaoke jam is old school country.

Kevin Feige says his on-set fanboy moment was "The Wasp". He says seeing Evangeline Lilly on set in the costume and in action was "it" for him. "Our fans went through a lot in a little film called Infinity War", so the need for a light humor. Feige says for the longest time, the Marvel Studios offices had a giant blown-up Avengers #1 cover, and he's so happy to see it "completed" with this film, having every character from that issue has now appeared in the films. "Seeing the filmmaker's visions come true, that's the important thing. From Peyton, to James Gunn, to Anna Borden and Ryan Fleck, that's what's important."

Evangeline Lilly looks INCREDIBLE, and they start talking about her suit. It took six months to develop the costume, because she wanted it to be perfect. She says that Hope's motivation in this film is to find her mom, and it was incredibly important to her to bring the classic comic style of The Wasp. "Women are powerful because of their femininity, not in spite of it. It was important to me that she not just move like a dude in a suit; I wanted her to clearly be a woman."

Michelle Pfeiffer also looks incredible (duh), and it turns out she hasn't seen the film yet! Michelle says Janet's courage and tenacity were things she related to during filming. She confirms that she and Michael Douglas had never worked together before this film, and that they'd never really spent time together before Ant-Man and The Wasp.
