You Can Play Star Wars: Battlefront Alone With Bots
For some people, multiplayer games just aren't their thing. The chance of having an under-aged player jacked up on Monster energy shouting profanity just isn't worth it.
That is why DICE have put in a single player mode into Star Wars: Battlefront. The team confirmed that you will be able to play alone or with a friend on your couch in the game's 'Mission' mode. In a tweet, Design Director on the game, Niklas Fegraeus said:
We have a feature called Missions that allow you to play solo or cooperatively with bots on or offline https://t.co/v7IL7fuC8G

This is a smart move. This is how almost everybody would have played the original Battlefront games, and it was a pretty great way to play them at that. We exist in a connected and multiplayer heavy time in the industry, so it is at least good seeing DICE keeping some of the roots of the original games.
