You Should Have Left Images Have Debuted Online
Nine new images from this week's Blumhouse release You Should Have Left debuted online today. The film stars Kevin Bacon, Amanda Seyfried, and Avery Essex in a movie about a haunted house situation where the house starts to reveal secrets to the family. The film is directed by David Koepp, most famous for writing the first Jurassic Park movie. He also wrote this one as well. You can see the nine new images from You Should Have Left down below, along with the trailer, if you haven't caught it yet.
The Official Synopsis and Trailer
"In this terrifying, mind-twisting tale, a father fights desperately to save his family from a beautiful home that refuses to let them leave. Theo Conroy (Bacon) is a successful middle-aged man whose marriage to his much younger actress wife, Susanna (Seyfried) is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and the shadow of his past. In an effort to repair their relationship, Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a stunning, remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter, Ella (Avery Essex). What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a perfect nightmare when Theo's grasp on reality begins to unravel, and he suspects that a sinister force within the house knows more than he or Susanna have revealed, even to each other."
The Blumhouse train keeps chugging along, and this looks like yet another fun watch. It could have been a theatrical release for sure, but Universal is continuing to put borderline stuff like this day and date on VOD streaming instead. Bacon and Seyfried look good here, and this might be a pleasant little treat come June 19th when it hits streaming services.
