J. Michael Straczynski is a busy fellow these days. First we heard about the return of Joe's Comics at Image, and now there's this: Legendary Comics is

Michael Straczynski is launching Studio JMS, a new studio to produce comics, film, tv, and games — and will revive his Joe's Comics imprint at Image Comics beginning Spring 2013 with comic book titles Falling Angel, Ten Grand, Guardians, and Sidekick.
Deadline has the scoop:
Studio JMS has signed on to produce a web series for MTV.com[...]
If JMS discovered that through some legal loophole, Top Cow owned all the characters in Midnight Nation and were preparing Before Midnight Nation, against his wishes, I feel his position might be different He is one of the few people who has consistently gone to bat on this matter however, rather than hiding in wishy[...]
PoliticsWatch: WND looks at the history of the comic book, and recent cultural shifts under Obama. Traitorism, the death of America and sodomy, apparently.
Looks like midnight EST was the embargo point, for certain comic book journalists to be allowed to talk about the Before Watchmen comics they've seen. And
John Bailey is attending C2e2 for Bleeding Cool:
The DC panelists were Bob Harras, Editor Bobbie Chase, Geoff Johns, JMS, Shane Davis, Scott Snyder, and additional guest Kevin Maguire.
The panel opened with a shot of DC's Free Comic Book Day Special, and Geoff Johns said it was a must read and "critical" to DCU fans[...]
Gorgeous, beautiful, sensational are words that have reached me.
Darwyn Cooke and Amanda Conner's Silk Spectre has received the most praise, as has Darwyn's Minutemen.
I'm told that Silk Spectre sticks to the nine panel grid of Watchmen but a number of the books don't.
I'm told that JMS's version of the Comedian may be rather controversial in[...]
As well as talking about the ins and out of their new Watchmen books, MTV Geek asked Len Wein and Joe Michael Straczynski about the possibility of more Watchmen to follow them.
LW: Absolutely, like any great characters, there's always more to tell.
JMS: I think what this project has shown, more than anything else, is that[...]
Richard Pace was the first comic book creator to state that they knew that Before Watchmen was actually happening. And now he has a take on the current
Warning, reading this post may spoil your enjoyment of The Twelve #10. It may also spoil your lunch. You have been warned. Chris Weston is an artist known
It's official folks. This morning I discovered that the Brian Azzarello/Lee Bermejo DC comic we heard about at Angouleme was going to be Rorschach. I sent
Where JMS seemed to claim that his Spider-Man comics sold better than current Spider-Man comics, Steve Wacker went to bat for his team, using a bat made out of web fluid, that kind of tools that Spider-Man used to make.
The initial Facebook thread has been deleted, but another has been started, in which JMS and[...]
There's bound to be much more discussion on this issue in the coming week, it'd be interesting to see more data as well.

Just sayin'
Steve Wacker, current editor of the Spider-Man comics replied;
An excellent post, JMS Out of context, out of date and full of out-of-the-blue mean.
Everyone on ASM currently respects your years on the book (and as editor I've said so many times in interviews and in the letter column), but seriously this is about as creepy[...]
Taking one of the principle characters from the series and telling a pre-Watchmen tale.
But I understand he may not be the only Kubert getting involved with this.
Other people previously named include Darwyn Cooke (as the equivalent of mini-series showrunner), JMS, John Higgins and JG Jones Oh, and Dave Gibbons.
DC, as ever these days, declined[...]
It was goig to be Marvel's Watchmen. But then Watchmen was late too. Just not this late. The Twelve, by Joe Michael Straczynski and Chris Weston is not
That names mentioned included Dave Gibbons, John Higgins, Darwyn Cooke, JMS, JG Jones, Andy Kubert and more.
Indeed I am now told that there will be four Watchmen miniseries, all prequels Working off an over-arching uber-plot by Darwyn, who will be writing and drawing on aa book or two.
I believe the phrase I'm looking for is[...]
Darwyn Cooke's name is at the very top, linked to drawing two mini-series and writing another, followed by the likes of JMS, JG Jones, Andy Kubert and Brian Azzarello Whether or not they have been approached, I don't know, and no one's talking, but it gives you an idea of the scale I would also[...]
Go get 'em, Marko!
JMS also let us know that he has handed in the final pages for Superman: Earth One Vol 2 On digital toilet paper, obviously.
Joe Michael Straczynski has posted on Facebook his response to the reportage of Thursday night's Team Spirit panel at Fan Expo Toronto And the words of a certain[...]
She first meets Superman in issue 2.
In response to audience questions, Morrison says that Steel is in the first four issues of Action Comics, and that there is a Legion reference in Action Comics 1.
Superboy is being reverse-engineered by a group called N.O.W.H.E.R.E.
Lobdell says that Superboy will be a villain for awhile in Teen Titans.
From[...]
But, at the time, though pushed for by Dan DiDio and others, it was nixed by then-publisher Paul Levitz.
Which does seem to fit in with Joe Michael Straczynski's account of a conversation with Dan DiDio about the relaunch this time – and JMS does stress later, he meant to say "relaunch" rather than "reboot".
When Dan[...]

It cannot have escaped people's notice that the Superman Earth One graphic novel has done rather well. Mass media attention, instant sell out, instant

The Twelve was a twelve-issue series from Marvel that took classic Golden Age Marvel superheroes and recast them in the modern day, basically what if a bunch of Captain Americas from the dregs of World War II had all woken up now…
By J Michael Straczynski and Chris Weston, the series was warmly received but went[...]
Thor has been one of Marvel's surprise performing titles over the last couple of years, ascribed principally to the writing of Babylon 5, Changeling and Amazing Spider-Man's Joe Michael Straczynski on the title.
This was a real turn around for the book, a title that had languished and been cancelled, put on hold for a significant[...]
The just-announced Marvel solicitations for September missed out quite a few chunks. Some Marvel Zombies here, some Amazing Spider-Man there... but what
