Everything The Chadster Hated About AEW Dynamite #100

This week's episode of AEW Dynamite was the 100th episode of the show, and AEW has only gotten better and more popular during that time, which The Chadster feels is very disrespectful to WWE. And it was also the final AEW Dynamite before Sunday's All Out PPV, which will probably be the biggest PPV in the company's history. The Chadster really can't stand that! And to top it all off, the tyrant Ray Flook as once again assigned The Chadster to review Dynamite for Bleeding Cool TV. Why does he torture The Chadster so? What has The Chadster ever done to deserve any of this?!

Don't answer that.

Everything The Chadster Hated About the 100th Episode of AEW Dynamite

As it so often does, AEW Dynamite this week kicked off with a match, with a highly-anticipated match, which, if you ask The Chadster, is just plain showing off. Sure, WWE may not know what they're doing at the start of any episode of WWE Raw or Smackdown because Vince McMahon has ripped up the script multiple times and they have to just send a bunch of people out there to cut a promo and see what happens, but sometimes that's just how creative geniuses work. What Tony Khan does, booking a match and then delivering that match to start Dynamite, just goes to show that he doesn't understand anything about the wrestling business. Anyhow, Santana and Ortiz took on FTR in a hard-hitting match that was ultimately won by Santana pinning Wheeler. The Chadster hated it.

Daniel Garcia and 2.0 cut a promo on Darby Allin and promised that he won't make it to his match with CM Punk at All Out after Garcia faces Allin at Rampage on Friday. You know what? If they pull that off and ruin the most anticipated match in AEW history, The Chadster will totally forgive 2.00 for betraying his beloved NXT by getting jobs in AEW after WWE fired them.

CM Punk came to the ring to cut a promo about wanting to prove he can still go, but Garcia and 2.0 interrupted him for a beatdown. Sting and Darby Allin came out to make the save, after waiting the appropriate amount of time for the crowd to get really riled up and chant Darby Darby Darby, which was totally unfair to WWE. After, Sting cut a promo putting over Punk and saying he'll stay backstage so they can fight one-on-one with no interference at All Out.

Tony Schiavone interviewed MJF about his match with Chris Jericho at All out. MJF put over Jericho's greatness, but said he'll replace him with an even better career. He compared Jericho to Muhammad Ali, once the greatest in the world, but couldn't give it up and came back too many times, only to end up with mush for brains, which The Chadster thinks was pretty harsh. Why does this feud need such high stakes and emotions? Why can't they fight over a magic doll or something like that? Tony Khan still has a lot to learn about wrestling, but you already knew that.

Orange Cassidy faced Jack Evans and in a rare event, Cassidy won during the picture-in-picture commercial break. It's a lot like the way The Fonz taught Richie Cunningham how to be a tough guy on Happy Days. You don't have to get into a fight every time. You have to get in a fight once, and win, and then every time after that you can just act tough and scare people off. Personally, The Chadster lives his life by the lessons taught by 1970s sitcoms. The Chadster once survived two weeks after getting lost during a trip to Hawaii by fashioning clothes and equipment out of coconuts. Thank goodness they had a sale on coconuts at the supermarket. Anyway, by having Cassidy win during the break, it sends the message that anyone could win during the break, which ruins the whole point of pro wrestling, which is that you should always follow a completely predictable formula so the fans don't get scared or confused. The Hardy Family Office, Best Friends, and Jurassic Express all brawled after the match.

Jim Ross interviewed Chris Jericho, who spoke about starting his main event journey 22 years ago by signing with Jim Ross. He says he doesn't want to give it all up, but that's why he has to put his career on the line against MJF, because it's the only way to know he can still do it. Jericho said lots of cuss words about MJF, which The Chadster found rude and unnecessary. He said there's no way he'll lose to MJF at All Out.

Brian Cage fought Powerhouse Hobbs and lost when Ricky Starks interfered by hitting Cage with the FTW title. The Chadster does enjoy when two people who are feuding face each other over and over again, so this is one of the few feuds in AEW he can get down with.

QT Marshall and the Nightmare Family Wolfpac came out to talk trash on Paul Wight, but Wight took them all out single-handedly. Billy Gunn and his large adult sons came out to have Wight's back, but Gunn turned on Wight and hit him with a chair. Then the Nightmare Family Wolfpac came out and put a beatdown on Wight.

Hmm. A star whose prime passed by twenty years ago easily defeating multiple up-and-comers on the AEW roster, only to be taken out by another star whose prime passed twenty years ago, allowing the young up-and-comers to kick him while he's down, may show that Tony Khan is finally beginning to understand how the wrestling business is supposed to work.

Backstage, Britt Baker said Jamie Hayter and Reba will enter the Casino Battle Royale at All Out.

Penelope Ford (with The Bunny) took on Tay Conti in a match. Conti won with a rollup after botched interference by Bunny. Bunny and Ford tried to beat down Conti after the match, but Anna Jay made her surprise return to reunite with and save her friend. The crowd was chanting "this is awesome" during the match, which is very, very unfair to WWE. If AEW had any respect for the business, they wouldn't have put on a good women's match so soon after that Nia Jax vs. Charlotte Flair meltdown on Raw. Absolutely disgusting.

Jade Cargill and Nyla Rose jumped Thunder Rosa backstage during an interview.

In the main event, Jurassic Express and the Lucha Bros took on the Young Bucks and the Good Brothers. It was a decent match, which the crowd was really into, which The Chadster totally hated, and ended with a Meltzer Driver on Rey Fenix. After, Kenny Omega got in the ring with the Elite for a beatdown on their All Out opponents, including Christian Cage, who tried and failed to make the save. Kenny cut a promo during the beatdown and revealed that Don Callis stole the cage remote control from Tony Khan. They lower the cage and beat the heck out of the babyfaces while other babyfaces tried and failed to enter the cage, which really put the cage over, which is really disrespectful and unfair to WWE. The show ended with the heels triumphant.

For a go-home episode of Dynamite, this show focused on putting the finishing touches on many of the matches planned for All Out. The show was sprinkled with pre-recorded promos and video packages to sell the PPV on Sunday, which once again shows how little Tony Khan knows about how to book a wrestling show if he already knows everything that's going to happen at the PPV nearly a week before. You're supposed to wait until the very last minute to figure that stuff out. Auughhh! Why does Tony Khan do this to The Chadster?!
