"Marvel's Runaways" to End After Season 3, New Trailer Drops
It seems that all good things are very much coming to an end over at Marvel TV. To the surprise of pretty much no one it seems that the latest season of Runaways is going to be the last one according to Deadline and the final season trailer that was shared on the official Hulu youtube channel. After the cancellation of pretty much all of the ongoing TV shows before Disney+ it was Runaways as the lone one standing after Cloak and Dagger was canceled following its second season on Freeform.
However, fans that are worried that this show is going to end on a massive cliffhanger the way that several of the Netflix shows did sources are saying that things "to come to a natural ending point at the end of Season 3". There is a decent chance that all involved knew that the writing was on the wall by the time they began to shoot the third season this year and everyone was able to plan for this to be a series finale and not just a season finale.
Summary: After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers band together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents' actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.
Marvel's Runaways, created by Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz, stars Gregg Sulkin, Ariela Barer, Lyrica Okano, Allegra Acosta, Virginia Gardner, and Rhenzy Feliz. The final season will premiere on Hulu on December 13th.
