'Orange Is The New Black' Just Wrapped Filming on Final Season

Emotions are running high as the cast and crew of Netflix series Orange Is The New Black say goodbye to their (fake) penitentiary home of the past 7 years, Litchfield Prison.

'Orange Is The New Black' Just Wrapped Filming on Final Season

Netflix announced last year that the 7th season of the series would be its last in a pretty emotional video featuring the cast of the show:

Series creator and showrunner Jenji Kohan has been counting the days til the end of production on the final season via her Instagram:

And, an impressive grouping of cast and crew gathered in what sure looks like the maximum security prison area used in season 6:

"This is a family", Kohan said.

We don't have a release date for the final season yet, but we'll let you know when we do. We're pretty excited to see Dune royalty join season 7, as St. Alia of the Knife Alicia Witt (The Walking Dead) in a reoccurring role.
