Randy Orton Sets Sights on Bullying Victim for Next WWE Raw Feud
We're not sure how he did it, but Randy Orton somehow managed to bury Bray Wyatt in a feud for a second time, even though Wyatt was using an even more popular gimmick than the first time in The Fiend, and even though Wyatt was just making his in-ring debut after weeks off, and even though Wyatt was seeking revenge on Orton for literally setting him on fire and burning him to death. You would think all of that would warrant some comeuppance and result in The Fiend getting the win over the aging Legend Killer, but alas, despite all of that, Orton still came out on top at WrestleMania when Alexa Bliss began bleeding motor oil from her scalp. And with the feud with The Fiend apparently over now, Orton has set his sights on a new victim for WWE Raw: Braun Strowman.
A press release from WWE.com provides more details:
Braun Strowman vs. Randy Orton … for the first time ever!
After going at it in the Triple Threat Match involving Drew McIntyre last Monday, The Monster Among Men and The Viper will step in the ring to go one-on-one for the very first time this Monday on Raw.
Strowman and Orton both picked up huge momentum with WrestleMania victories against Shane McMahon and The Fiend respectively, so now they are due to go head-to-head in an all-important matchup.
Who will emerge victorious? Find out on Raw live this Monday at 8/7 C on USA Network!
For Strowman, who only recently survived a severe bullying incident with Shane McMahon, getting buried by Randy Orton must seem like an unpleasant experience. Hopefully, the Monster Among Men will fair better than his former mentor in his feud with Randy Orton, but… bwahahaha! Nobody really believes that will happen, right? WWE Raw airs at 8PM Eastern on the USA Network on Monday.
