With a new edition of NBC's Saturday Night Live set for this weekend and with it being Wednesday night, then you know what it's time for. That's right, we're getting a chance to see how read-thru is going for SNL host Jacob Elordi (set to be joined by musical guest Reneé Rapp) and the cast. We're going to be keeping our radar set for Thursday's on-stage promos – and between tomorrow and Saturday night, we should start getting a clearer picture of how the rest of Season 49 is shaping up.

In the following midweek sketch, Elordi appreciates just how huge of an opportunity it is to host, so he wants to make sure his first SNL steps are memorable ones. But when it's clear that he's overthinking things, SNL stars Marcello Hernandez & Punkie Johnson step in to lend a hand – we think?
