Shannara Chronicles Season 2: Magic Is A Gift That Comes With A Price

In the most recent episode of the Shannara Chronicles, General Riga (Desmond Chiam) and the Crimson have started to hunt down and kill magic users. With the help of traitors close to King Ander (Aaron Jakubenko), they are able to ambush and capture the druid, Allanon (Manu Bennett). They take him to Graymark, the former stronghold of the Warlock Lord, and put him on a mock trial for using magic.

In the clips below, we see Allanon taken before Riga. The general wants the Codex of Paranor, the source of druid magic. Allanon refuses to tell him where it is and poses a question: if the Crimson kill all magic users, who will stand against the Warlock Lord if he is resurrected? The magic-immune Riga answers that it will be men like him.

The other person Riga wants is Wil Ohmsford (Austin Butler) and the Elfstones. Wil needs to find Allanon and deliver him to Bandon (Marcus Vanko) or Uncle Flick (Mark Mitchinson) will die. This means the odds are that Wil and Mareth (Malese Jow), who believes she is Allanon's daughter, will go to Graymark on their own and try to save the Druid.

The Shannara Chronicles airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Spike.
