Supernatural Season 13: Changes Coming for Sheriff Donna
Fans of Supernatural seem to really like the character of Donna Hanscum (Briana Buckmaster). She first appeared in season 9 and has been popping up occasionally ever since (except season 12). She is slated to be part of the Wayward Sisters backdoor pilot episode, but it seems that the episode after that is the one that Donna fans will want to focus on.
Executive producer Andrew Dabb told EW.com:
Donna is featured heavily in episode 11, and it really takes her character to a place we have not seen her. It changes her a little bit and sets her up for, should we be lucky enough for [Wayward] to move forward, the next chapter of her life. Everyone else we front-loaded, and Donna we'll tie up an episode after, but it gets everyone to the place where if we go ahead, all of these characters are prepared for that next chapter.
And even if the show doesn't get picked up, it looks like it will be opening up a new chapter for Donna and maybe they can explore it down the line.
Seems that wasn't the only thing Dabb was telling on-line folks this week. In talking to TVLine, Dabb reminded fans of earlier this season when Billie, the once reaper who is now Death, brught Dean back to life, saying that he and Sam were too important to die. Seems that "will come back into play this season."
Supernatural season 13 air Thursdays at 8 PM on the CW. The show is currently on winter break and will be back on January 18th.
