It turns out we were all wrong on the episode count for The Gifted. There are sixteen episodes this season, not fifteen. So, while we are in the home stretch next week is not the finale. The fate of the show is still very much unknown since there hasn't been a cancellation or a renewal yet. While the photos for this episode spoiled the fate of a cliffhanger, this time we don't have that. There don't appear to be any spoilers in for the most recent episode in the summary or images but there is one in the preview so watch at your own risk.

The Gifted currently streams to Hulu with the most recent episode going up several hours after airing on Fox. It's absolutely worth looking into if you're an X-Men fan even if this second season has been a bit on the slow side. That is likely why the ratings have dipped considerably.
